Veseli me, da minevajo časi, ko so dizli pri okoli dva tisoč vrtljajih naenkrat sunkovito potegnili, pod tem pa so bili praktično mrtvi.
Veseli me, da minevajo časi, ko so dizli pri okoli dva tisoč vrtljajih naenkrat sunkovito potegnili, pod tem pa so bili praktično mrtvi. To je sploh veljalo ravno za Volkswagnove TDI-je. Sedaj je navora dovolj že pri nizkih vrtljajih, potem pa zvezno vleče celo nad 4000, saj največjo moč doseže pri za dizla kar visokih 4200 vrtljajih. Skali hitrosti do 280 kilometrov na uro in motornih vrtljajev le do 'šestice' navsezadnje lahko gresta skupaj. Kljub dinamični vožnji se je poraba gibala pod osmimi litri, kar je za takšne zmogljivosti izvrsten rezultat. Še celo zvok je športen, kot je za dizla to sploh mogoče.
Žal že običajen golf ni poceni, sploh pa ne takle. V osnovi vas bo stal več kot 25 tisočakov, z nekaj dodatne opreme pa več kot 30. Zaradi popularnosti dizelskega agregata je celo dražji (200 EUR) od močnejšega, a tudi bolj žejnega GTIja. Slednji, jasno, ponuja še več veselja za volanom, lepši zvok in za kakšna dva litra večjo porabo. Bolj očitno razkazuje svoje mišice, medtem ko je GTD lahko povsem krotek sopotnik na dolgih vožnjah, kjer je pomemben tudi strošek goriva. Ampak jaz bi vseeno izbral GTIja.
